Italian club Napoli officially announced the extension of their backup goalkeeper Nikita Contini's contract to continue with the team until June 30, 2031, in a move that reflects the management's confidence in the player's abilities and their desire to secure his long-term presence.

Contini is one of the club's homegrown players, having been raised in Napoli's academy before making his way to the first team. He spent various periods on loan at several clubs to gain experience before returning and settling into the team's roster.
